Wind energy is an essential part of the worldwide energy mix for today and for the future. The success of a wind energy project is dependent on many technical factors such as the wind speed distribution, the wind turbine hub height, rotor diameter, wake effects and the efficiency/availability of the wind farm.
If you, a company or entrepreneur in the wind energy industry, wish to be successful in today's highly competitive environment, you need to have an in-depth understanding of these factors!!!
I'm here to help - with my unique combination of more than ten years' experience in R&D and management in the wind energy industry as well as my outstanding communication skills.
Find out more below!
Helping you to identify, analyse and understand key wind energy data in order to maximise energy production and minimise losses of wind energy projects.
Helping you to understand the basics of wind energy technology so you are more capable of making key decisions, negotiating credibly and evaluating external assessments.
I have an M.Eng. (Cambridge University, MIT) and Ph.D. (Sheffield University) in Mechanical Engineering as well as over ten years' international wind energy and management experience both in research (ETH Zurich, Fraunhofer IWES, University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil) and in industry (BKW FMB AG, Agile Wind Power AG). I speak English (mother tongue), German and Swiss German fluently. I currently lead the wind energy programme at the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil two days a week and hold a lectureship in wind energy at the University of Kassel.
I also offer ISO certified individual, business and academia coaching as well as unique workshops and talks under my other brand name, mindspire.
